Construction Air Quality Monitoring

Demolition of old buildings to make way for new infrastructure can cause the release of hazardous substances into the air.  Lead and other metals and asbestos can become airborne and led to air quality violations and human health concerns.  Public owners such as WSDOT, Sound Transit, and local municipalities have specifications requiring air monitoring during demolition to support maintaining air quality at their construction sites.
