Quality Program Coordinator (Puget Sound Region)

O’Neill Service Group is seeking a Quality Program Coordinator to help lead, implement, manage, and train the quality personnel in O’Neill Service Group’s Quality Management System (QMS).

OSG is a leading provider of Quality Control/Assurance, Environmental, and Engineering Services on heavy-civil transportation projects in the Puget Sound Region. Our projects focus on improving critical transportation thoroughfares that significantly impact our region. Our experienced team of more than 90 engineers, scientists, inspectors, and technicians work collaboratively to support our clients from design and permitting through construction and commissioning. The successful candidate for the Quality Program Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and communication of OSG’s quality management systems program between all construction sites and OSG’s office. The Quality Program Coordinator will act as the conduit for all quality management system information throughout the organization and be actively involved in all aspects of the QMS functions for the company.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinate and implement external audits (A2LA, AASHTO, WSDOT)
  • Maintain Staff Certification status
  • Coordinate required re-certification
  • Coordinate required training
  • Perform field audits of testing and inspection procedures
  • Coordinate and conduct staff reviews as it relates to the QMS
  • Setup and Manage Document Control System for all employee certifications and training
  • Manage and Maintain Equipment Log
  • Maintain the Quality Management System

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a relative background or Three (3) years’ relevant work experience plus a technical or Associate’s degree
  • Ability to obtain one or more of the following certifications: ICC, ACI, Nuclear Gauge, WABO, and WAQTC within the first year of hire
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and navigate uneven construction sites

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior exposure or education on Quality Management Systems
  • Extroverted personality
